Earn · The yield account
Dollars that earn a little every day.
One account, held in US dollars, that earns daily yield at a variable rate. Move money in from your Wiremi wallet or your stablecoin wallet, watch the yield add up, and move it out when you choose. Today’s rate is shown in the app before you move anything.

How it works
In, earning, out. Three moves, all yours.
- 01
Move money in
From your Wiremi wallet or straight from your stablecoin wallet, which is dollars already. The rate and anything it costs are on the screen before you confirm.
- 02
It earns every day
Yield is added daily and stays in the account, so it keeps earning. The app shows what you have earned so far and the yield day by day.
- 03
Move it out when you choose
Back to your wallet, with what is available to move shown first. Held in dollars, so what you get back in your own currency can differ.
Yield, not interest
Small amounts, every single day.
The yield account is for dollars you are not using this week. It earns daily yield at a variable rate, and every day’s yield stays in, so the balance it earns on keeps growing. Nothing is locked unless you choose to lock it.
In the yield account

Illustrative figures, not a rate or a forecast. The rate varies, and today’s is shown in the app before you move money.
Said plainly
What the yield account is not.
It is a way to earn on dollars you hold. It is not a savings account at a bank, and we would rather you knew that before your first dollar goes in than after.
The yield account is not a deposit and is not insured. The rate varies.
- The yield comes from where the dollars are placed and held. Those venues and the partner that holds the assets carry risk, and you could get back less than you put in.
- The rate moves. What the account earned yesterday is not a promise about tomorrow.
- It is held in US dollars, so its value in your own currency moves with the exchange rate.
- Wiremi is not a bank.
Not the same as a goal
Savings goals keep you honest. The yield account earns.
Regular, Normal Block and Safe Lock goals pay no yield. What they earn is standing: savings held is part of your Community Credit. The yield account is the opposite trade, a dollar balance that earns daily yield. You can keep both.

Quiet money
Money you are not spending this week can still be doing something.
Move it in when the month is calm, take it out when it is not. The balance, what it has earned and today’s rate are all on one screen.
Questions people actually ask
- What rate does it earn?
- A variable rate that is shown in the app before you move money in. It changes, so we do not print a number here that could be out of date by tomorrow.
- Is it interest?
- No. It is yield, earned daily on the dollars in the account and added to the balance, where it keeps earning.
- Is my money insured?
- No. The yield account is not a deposit and is not insured, and the rate varies. The venues where the dollars are placed and the partner that holds them carry risk.
- How much do I need to start?
- Five dollars. You can move in from your Wiremi wallet or from your stablecoin wallet.
- Does it count toward Community Credit?
- Community Credit reads circles, loan repayments and savings held. To build the savings part of your record, use a savings goal.
