The marks, the words, and where to find us.

The emblem and the wordmark with the rules for using them, the palette and the type, the names and how to write them, our channels, and a contact who answers. Materials here are free for editorial use.

The marks

The emblem and the wordmark.

Two chevrons, one on top of the other, make the W. The emblem stands alone; the wordmark sets it beside the name. Use whichever fits the space, and never redraw either.

Using the mark

Clear space, minimum size, and the two grounds it lives on.

The rules are few and they are all about legibility. Give the mark room, keep it big enough to read, and put it on a ground it was drawn for.

Clear space: one chevron height, every side

Minimum size, on screen and in print

Do

  • Use the two-tone emblem, the deeper blue on the left chevron and the lighter on the right, on light grounds; use the white emblem on dark grounds.
  • Keep clear space around the mark equal to the height of one chevron on every side.
  • Show the emblem no smaller than 24 px on screen or 8 mm in print; the wordmark no smaller than 96 px or 24 mm.
  • Place the mark on a plain area of a photograph, or on one of the palette colours.
  • Use the files on this page as supplied. Ask us for any other format.

Do not

  • Do not rotate, stretch, skew, outline or add shadows, gradients or effects to the mark.
  • Do not recolour the emblem, and do not set it in any colour outside the palette.
  • Do not redraw the chevrons, change their proportions or separate them.
  • Do not put the mark inside a shape, a badge or a circle, or lock it up with another logo.
  • Do not use the mark to imply endorsement of a product or a service.

The names

How to write what we make.

Most errors in coverage are names. These are the ones that matter, and the mistakes we see most.

Wiremi™
The platform and the trading name. Sentence case, never all capitals, no accent. The wordmark carries the trademark symbol; in running text use it on first reference.
Community Credit
The proprietary score. Two words, both capitalised. Not “credit score” on its own.
Circle Credit
Lending between members of a savings circle. A peer who lends is a peer benefactor.
Savings circles
The rotating savings groups. Njangi, esusu, susu or tontine are correct local names.
Wiremi Verify
The consent-gated way a lender or landlord reads a Community Credit file.
Ori
The assistant inside the app. Three letters, capital O.
Passport
A subscription plan name only. It is not the name of the credit product.

About Wiremi, in two lengths.

Short

ABOUT 45 WORDS

Wiremi is a Canadian credit identity platform for people who move between countries. Operated by Fortress Algo Incorporated, a FINTRAC-registered Money Services Business, it turns rent, bills, loans and community savings circles into Community Credit, a score it lends against and that lenders can read with the holder’s consent.

Long

ABOUT 140 WORDS

Wiremi is a Canadian credit identity platform for people who move between countries. It turns the obligations newcomers already meet, rent, utilities, instalment loans and the rotating savings circles their communities have always run, into Community Credit, a proprietary score Wiremi underwrites its own lending against. Wiremi Verify opens that score to lenders, landlords and platforms, with the file holder’s consent on every request.

Wiremi is operated by Fortress Algo Incorporated, a company registered in Canada (Registry ID 4363756), licensed by FINTRAC as a Money Services Business (M23401666) and recognised by the Bank of Canada under the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPS0002269). It was founded by immigrant entrepreneurs and operates from Mississauga, Ontario, with offices in Port Harcourt and Buea. Wiremi is not a bank.
